My name is Piers Shortell, the creator of Look Out Photography. I’ve grown up surrounded by creativity. Both of my Grandmothers were/are extremely talented artists in their respective fields of drawing and painting. A camera isn’t unfamiliar to me either. My father had directed a movie before I was born, and the camera stuck around. I was always naturally drawn to the camera. I rediscovered my passion for photography around Middle school, and I haven’t stopped being interested in capturing the moments that I have realized, only happen once.

I love to travel, so much that I will never turn down an opportunity to experience somewhere or something new. Although I am based in Washington DC, my photography is not limited by any location nor any specific idea, being a reflection of the spontaneity on life

My current weapon of choice is the Canon Eos 90D along with a collection of different lens for all occasions.
